UPDATE:At last an actual update - February 2007. I have been very busy writing prose for the last year. I have finished three manuscripts. The first, " For a Good Time Call:867-5309 - I Wrote It, You're Stuck With It!... my rock odyssey through psychedelic San Francisco in the '60's, punk London in the '70's , and full-throttle Los Angeles in the '80's", is just going out to publishers as you read this. My second ms., "Pastime", is a coming-of-age novel that revolves around the twin axes of the last little league season for twelve-year-old-Allen Hall in 1961 and the major league career of Dutch Winkelman, the character from the song Winkelman's Farm ( co-written with Lorin Rowan)in the 'teens and twenties. This story has had some movie interest. There is a short animated feature under creation right now,which we hope will be entered in the Portland Animation Festival in March. My most recent opus is called, "Second Childhood." It's about a band called Childhood, who had their one and only hit song, " Here Comes the Big One", back in 1975. Thirty years later, Childhood is back wiht The Big One being used in an ad campaign for the Xeonosis Corporation's huge new penis implant. It gets particularly sticky when the implants begin exploding. It's Spinal Tap for Boomers! THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BOUGHT THE CD!!
